At WellSpan, we know that strong teams are built through strong education. That’s why we proudly offer our Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) Program designed for college students and graduates ready to take the next step into a rewarding laboratory career.
About the Medical Laboratory Science Program
• Replaces or follows a student’s senior year of college
• Provides hands on clinical experience in WellSpan’s high-tech laboratories
• Prepares students to become certified medical laboratory scientists
• Includes rotations across WellSpan hospitals
• Offers access to experienced faculty, advanced testing equipment and a supportive learning environment
The program has a long history of success—WellSpan’s MLS students have maintained a 100% certification rate for more than 20 years and the majority of graduates choose to stay and grow their careers with us.
Alongside the MLS program, WellSpan also offers Phlebotomy and additional training programs expanding the pathway for anyone interested in a laboratory career.
